12 Volt SBC BA15d 60/55 watt double filament HALOGEN Headlamp Bulb B1248H

2 volt double contact BA15D HALOGEN 60/55 watt double filament bulb. Dimensions 14mm diameter glass tube x 56mm tall with 15mm diameter cap. Use headlight. A twin filament bulb with filament shield for dip beam and unshielded mainbeam – offering the performance of the modern H4 60/55w type bulb on a traditional BA15D base! Manufactured by classic bulbs in response to demand for a high performance halogen bulb alternative to incandescent bulbs B171 and B1248, as well LED BA15D upgrade options see part numbers BA15DLED-H30, BA15DLED-H43, BA15DLED-H30L, BA15DLED-H43L and BA15DLED-P43.
When fitting please ensure that the bulb holder interior is clean and clear of any debris (rust or corrosion). Also check the contact spring is free and does not need excessive pressure to compress when fitting the bulb. Do not touch the glass with bare skin, please wear gloves or use a cotton cloth when fitting, grease or oils from the skin will cause the bulb to blow when turned on or after a short while. Please fit by holding the top of the cap/base, not the glass, do not apply significant twisting force to the glass relative to the cap/base.
